Replacing a tooth requires more than placing an implant

A dental implant, generally made of biocompatible titanium, replaces the root of a missing tooth and supports a custom ceramic or zirconia crown. Before it is recommended, the bone, gums, neighboring teeth, bite and available space must be evaluated.

Our team coordinates diagnosis, surgery and restoration so implant position is guided from the beginning by the form, function and long-term maintenance of the final crown.

Clinical planning at every stage

A CBCT scan and in-person examination determine whether additional procedures are needed.

01

Three-dimensional diagnosis

CBCT imaging helps evaluate bone volume, anatomical structures and the proposed implant position before surgery.

02

Individualized surgery

The need for extraction, bone grafting or a membrane is decided according to the actual conditions of the site.

03

Coordinated restoration

After integration, the final crown is designed to restore contact, bite, hygiene access and appearance.

Stages of dental implant treatment

Biological healing is part of treatment and should not be accelerated without a clinical indication.

01

Assessment and CBCT

We confirm diagnosis, available space and the condition of the bone and surrounding tissues.

02

Surgical stage

The implant is placed and, when indicated, regenerative procedures or a temporary tooth are provided.

03

Implant crown

After biological integration, the final restoration is fabricated and carefully adjusted.

Dental implant questions

Is a bone graft always required?

No. The need depends on available bone volume and quality and is confirmed through clinical examination and CBCT imaging.

How long before the final crown is placed?

Integration time varies with the site, bone and procedure. Many cases require several months before the definitive crown.

How long can a dental implant last?

Long-term studies show high implant survival beyond 10 years, but survival does not mean maintenance-free. The implant, gums, bone, crown and restorative components require periodic review; smoking, poor hygiene and certain health conditions increase risk.

Can I receive a temporary tooth?

It may be possible in selected cases. The option depends on stability, bite and the aesthetic and surgical conditions.
